OEF Secretary nominated for Westfield Local Hero Awards

Our Secretary and Hub Coordinator, Marilyn Lambert, was one of three nominees in this year’s Westfield Local Heroes Award. Marilyn works tirelessly to support Outer East Foodshare and we wee excited to see her efforts recognised with the chance to win $20,000 for OEF.

Despite a strong campaign, unfortunately Marilyn was a runner-up. However, Westfield Knox kindly donated $5,000 to support the purchase of a new two-door freezer, aptly named ‘Westie’!
